XXXJay’s Sponsor Stats for All of 2008

Add comment April 22nd, 2008

Here are my stats for all of 2008 for the entire year to present:
http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/links/webmasters.html

Let’s face it. Everyone said 2008 was going to be a pivotal year for the paysite / affiliate model. I’ve crunched the numbers for the first half of 2008 and things are looking just as dismal as expected. Revenues are down for me as much as 60% from what they were 2 years ago. Sure, I’ve been spending more time on OCCash and I might have lost a few search terms, but I still have a shitload of traffic and the fact is people are not buying like they used to.

Weather it’s the illegal-tube-site-effect, the economy, aggressive xsales, torrents, tricky trial members areas, or lack luster content; people are just not joining porn sites like they used to.

Here’s a few notes from this stats run:

1. As always, ratios are ratios, but cash is cash. The top earners are really the best gauge of what makes the real money:
http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/links/…ers.html#money

2. Orgycash killed it. Probably because they bill in Euros and have great content. Either way, they shot way to the top.

3. Fuckyoucash is going to be a stable hot program that will put money in your pocket. They make their debut on my top earners this run.

4. With so much free porn being given away, the only thing left to sell is interactivity. I’ve seriously been considering pulling my AFF traffic, but they do bring home the bacon, plus I doubt the loss of my traffic would even affect them.

5. The old over-saturated sponsors people say don’t convert like Nasty Dollars and Bangbros convert again because other people are out promoting new over saturated programs.

6. Revshare is way better than PPS if a sites conetnt is good and updates are strong. Almost everyone that made it to the top of the Earnings-Per-Click did do because of rebills. Even sponsor with horrible ratios held their own because of solid rebills.

The rest of this year should remain interesting and chalenging. Hopefully, the porn slinging environment will change before it’s time to crunch the numbers again!

XXXJay’s New Stats Run: 4/20/2007 thru 9/20/2007

Add comment September 20th, 2007

It’s that time of the month(s) again. I did a new run of my stats based on 5 months of data from 4/20/2007 – 9-20/2007 and it has been published here:

XXXJay’s Stats 4/20/2007 – 9-20/2007:
http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/links/webmasters.html

Take them for what they are, but the real winners are (as always) the ones that made me the most money:
http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/links/…ers.html#money

A couple interesting points I’ve found on this run:

Sponsors with less exposure like Fabulouscash that WeConvert, and Monster Mazuma see to have grown some legs. Some are only getting traffic through Snizzshare submissions.

Those sites that offer a ton of movies like Movieroom and Adult Movie Club convert OK (AVG 1:1600) but do really awesome rebills, so the make money.

Sometimes old programs like Scorecash can make you a lot of money because the surfers are super loyal and the rebills are ridiculous.

Some of my better money makers like Naughty America converted horribly but were still bringing in money because the rebills are very strong.

Jay’s XXX Webmaster Stats Run (NOVEMBER 2006 TO MAY 2007)

I’ve been busy as hell — it’s been a while since I’ve published stats. Watch me use my laziness to turn lemons into lemonade:

The Latest Run of Jays XXX Stats is here:
http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/links/webmasters.html

There are a couple things that are cool about these stats:

1. They’ve been compiled from 11 months of data. With such a greater sample of information the playing field will be leveled quite a bit. Everything is measured from the EPC (Earning Per Click). Revshare programs don’t have to get the shaft on this one with enough time to properly quantify rebills. VOD will get a fair chance as well. What is better to send your traffic to? Is it dating sponsors, cams, VOD, or paysites that will earn you the most over time? Look and see.

2. 90% of the traffic sent to sponsors has been through link tracking on our side. JQMedia uses a link repository: (Example: http://www.links-module.com/out/bubblebuttsgalore.com/), so I will be able to pull some real numbers on any sponsor in question on how they really report numbers. I will be able to match the hits out through my server logs against what shows in the admin for each program.

3. This Run will be done Web 2.0 style. Meaning: If there are programs on here you don’t think I’ve reported correctly, I will go back and use my vast pool of data to garner the real numbers. I will take input from this thread to update this stats run. I don’t have the time to go through over 100 programs to figure out what is what. You tell me, I’ll check it, and I’ll make it right based on my data.

4. No sponsor has been listed unless there have been at least 5000 click out. For most, it was much more.

Here are a couple points of interest from this run:

- REMEMBER: The most important thing of all is who brang home the bacon. These are the guys that did: http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/links/…ers.html#money – At the end of the day, those are really the best guys, no matter how the ratios wash out.

- Not to pick on Realitycash, they are one of my best sponsors, but I really don’t know what’s going on with the “Qualified Hits” thing. If it went out the door, it qualified. I am going to start counting some of that link tracking to get to the bottom of this. Got a program you want to “out”? Post it here.

- PerfectGonzo is now showing their stats a lot better now. Congrats on that!

- It seems that saturation has become a bigger factor with a lot of the big affiliate programs that once dominated have fallen to the end of the list. Again, not to pick on anyone, but an example of this would be Platinumbucks falling so far back. They had been a solid Top 10 sponsor for years. I’m sure they will come back with something killer soon.

- It seems that medium exposure sponsors with good content offer the best EPC at the moment.

- PPS isn’t always better than Revshare. Again, not to pick, but my ration with Jaymancash were atrocious, but I did sent 2 joins and they rebilled over 13 times. I made over $100 on each of these signups and they are still rebilling!

- There a few sponsors on this list I think could be headed someplace: Fuckyoucash, T-Shirt Hell, and AdultMovieClub all had a nice time in the list. Movieroom also is running up some nice rebills.

- Say whatever you want but AEBN and Adult Friend Finder make money!

Ok, sorry about the “War and Peace” length post. Check out the stats, post your comments, and I will look into anything I think has merit.

Stats Drama, a day of reckoning is coming for all sponsors…

1 comment March 1st, 2007

I have added a bunch of server-side tracking to my outgoing links so I will be able to discover the true ratios of what is being sent to sponsors.

Fuck this busting out a calculator to find out my real ratios — now I’ll know! No matter how I program tries to wash them in 2nd, 3rd, “qualified” or whatever the fuck they call them…

I’ll know.

I stopped publishing my stats for a while because I believed some sponsors were showing better ratios than they deserved, while other decent sponsors might be getting thrown under the bus.

This is all about to change. I will be collecting the data for the next 30 days and will publish no-holds-barred results at the beginning of next month.

Watch out people.

10. SILVERCASH / .02 / 1:2363 / 12

Q: How much does a program’s customer service or ability to work with you factor into your decision to promote them?

A: Having a good rep is definitely nice. The thing these programs have to realize is their reps need to do more than just beg for traffic. I get hit with 1000’s on these a day and it’s a good way to make me not promote their program.

Q: Can the amount of money you’re making with them, override other factors like this?

A: Sponsors like Bangbros or Nastydollars I don’t even ever need the customer support because they are first rate operations, so it’s a moot point.
